Finding of the day! No.. finding of the YEAR! I don't know what made me to do this but today I visited the Mech Wars Website - last time I did this was sometimes in 2006 or 2007 I think. What a surprise, the website offers a login mask instead of an empty page. In total disbelieve I tried my old login name and credentials back from 2005. IT WORKS! Even my old buddy list is still there, and the best of it all - the season started only 2 weeks ago. Mech Mars is the BEST browser game I ever played - and I played a lot different games. Hours and hours of enormous pleasure and I meet a lot of good people there. The game doesn't have a single graphics! But still the BEST ever. The score system is unique and a great pleasure. The more you fight the more points you get - even when you loose :) Give it a try - meet me there and we can hook up. |

I just added cooliris (formerly known as PicLens) support for the image galleries. This is such a cool browser plugin and I recommend everyone to install it. Just go to their homepage and grab it. You can follow this link. And the very best is, that the cooliris support is alread built into phoca gallery for joomla. All you have to do is to enable it and tell phoca to build the required rss feeds. You can test e.g. in "USA - 1999" -> "LA Gallery" |

Just added another module - "Tag clouds". I always liked this application as it gives you a fast and good overview of the most used keywords/topics of a website. The one I found is free, easy to install and configure and works like a charm: Zaragoza Clouds. To get some "space" on the layout I removed the "Poll" application. |
